The Joi of Summer Fashion Show

Last Wednesday, we were super excited to participate in the Joi of Summer Fashion show. Summer Joi is a designer and stylist who specializes in denim; as in Jeans...denim bowties, shorts, and shirts to name a few. We were in charge of decorations and helping to transform a large empty space into a cozy venue for the show.

After talking with Summer, we knew we wanted fashion and design to be present in all that we did. Can't have a fashion show and the decorations are not up to par with the beautiful work displayed by the designer! First we made banners...
We also thought a dress form with pictures of Summer's work would be a great way for people to see things that were not featured in the show...

There were some special people in the audience so Summer needed reserved seating for them.

Summer also had food and drinks, so food and drink signs were only appropriate.

And the table needed some additional decorations so it wouldn't be so bare.

We also had a fabulous banner that we hung and some balloons that were covering the ceiling.

Afterwards it was time for us to get dressed and enjoy the festivities while keeping an eye on our hard work. It was fantastic! We received compliments on our decorations, which of course makes any professional feel good. We spent a lot of time on the decorations and felt good about the product we were able to share with others. We can't wait for our next event! Could your event be next?

xoxo,

Amanda and Lasondra
